Dear St. Hugh School Community:

During the month of September, we are focusing on COURAGE. This is a virtue that helps us face difficulties and overcome fear with faith. In the Bible we read the words of Jesus: "I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world" (John 16:33)

Jesus asks us to place our trust in him, especially when we are afraid or troubled. He will give us courage and strength to face our fears and to hope in him.

As we begin this school year, we embark on a new educational journey. Let us remember these words and have the courage to teach and learn through iPadtechnology, have the courage to lead our school as we elect a new student council, have the courage to accept cultural diversity, have the courage to help those migrant children in need, and have the courage to protect our students from harm as a member of the new St. Hugh School Safety Patrol.

I look forward to a wonderful new year filled with the love of God and the love of learning!

God Bless you!

Mrs. Mary E. Fernandez, Ed.S.

Please know that applications for admission will place your child on the school waiting list. If an opening becomes available at any time during the school year 2014-2015, we will contact you and schedule a time for the child to take the entrance exam.
