Principal’s Message

This month we will be learning about the Catholic Identity Virtue of "JOY". It is such a beautiful time of year where we take time to remember the greatest gift of all "Jesus Christ".

Joy is the pure gift of God's grace and happiness. It is beyond what we can find on our own. Joy that comes from God stretches way beyond what we can imagine for ourselves and for the world. In the Bible we read "You will show me the path to life, abounding joy in your presence..." (Psalm 16:11).

Basketball Champions

Congratulations to the boys' varsity basketball team for winning the ACC Division 2A Championship. They defeated St. Louis Covenant School, 22 to 16, at the championship game held at St. Patricks in Miami Beach. This remarakable team, which consists of seventh and eighth graders under the direction of Coach Travis Williams, had a tremendous season this year and we are very proud of them.

St. Hugh School Goes 3D

We are excited to announce that thanks to a generous donation from a St. Hugh parent, our school now has a 3D printer. We believe that the 3D printer will make learning irrestistable by fueling limitless creativity and allowing students to see, hold and test their ideas in real space.Teachers and students are already coming up with ideas for how this new technology can be used for school projects. We look forward to seeing some great designs in the near future.

Fourth Grade Rosaries

The students in fourth grade have been learning about the rosary and beaded and knotted string to make their very own rosaries. Fr. Damien stopped by the classroom to bless the rosaries. This project helped students learn about the different parts of a rosary and how to use it in prayer.
